After shopping, please return gifts (unwrapped) to any of our designated Elves for Elders trees. A full list of locations will be posted each season. So stay tuned for this years!
The best way to get in touch with Elves for Elders is through our Facebook page or by sending us an email. Let us know what your question is and the codename of the elder you're trying to buy a gift for!
Our Location
While we don't have a physical office for visits, our organization operates out of Cabot, Arkansas.
FAQ
1. How do I become an Elf?
Sign up by choosing a tag from one of our Elves for Elders trees or through our online form. Each tag includes an elder’s name and wish list.
2. Do I need to buy everything on the Wishlist?
No! The wish list is meant to give you ideas of what the elder would enjoy. You can purchase as many or as few items as you’re comfortable with.
3. Should I wrap the gifts before returning them?
No, please return all gifts unwrapped. Our volunteer team will handle wrapping and labeling to make sure everything stays organized.
4. Where do I drop off the gifts?
Drop-off locations will be listed on our website and announced when you pick up your tag. We’ll make sure the process is convenient and local.
5. Can I donate money instead of shopping?
Yes! Monetary donations are welcome and will be used by volunteers to purchase gifts for elders who haven’t yet been adopted.
6. Can businesses or groups participate?
Absolutely. Businesses, churches, clubs, and families are encouraged to adopt multiple elders or host a tree at their location.
7. How are elders chosen for the program?
We partner with nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and community centers. Staff members help identify elders who may not have family nearby during the holidays.
8. Can I suggest a facility or location for a tree?
Yes! Use our “Suggest a Location” form to recommend a nursing home, assisted living facility, or community spot where you’d like to see a tree placed.
9. What kinds of items do elders usually request?
Popular items include blankets, slippers, socks, puzzle books, snacks, personal care items, and small seasonal gifts.
10. When is the deadline to return gifts?
All gifts should be returned by the posted deadline (usually mid-December) so we have time to wrap and deliver them before Christmas.
11. Can I volunteer without adopting an elder?
Yes! We’re currently working on setting up a gift wrapping party where volunteers can come together to wrap all the donated presents. It’s our hope to host this event this year, and we’ll share the details as soon as they’re finalized. Keep an eye on our updates page for announcements!
12. How do I contact Elves for Elders with questions?
You can reach us through our website’s contact form, email, or phone—we’re happy to help!
